Acknowledgements

Greater Manchester Combined Authority has committed substantial funding and resources since 2016 to support the development of Greater Manchester Environment Fund as an independent public, private and third sector initiative with the aim of securing more sustained investment and donations in GM’s natural capital.

GMEF has been designed in consultation with a Steering Group made up of key local stakeholders, who have kindly provided their time and guidance to support the development of the fund.

The development of GMEF has been funded through generous contributions from Peel L&P, United Utilities and the Environment Agency.
