Green Superheroes

Co-developing projects with people with learning disabilities and supporting them to become "Green Superheroes".

As part of this work, the Green Superheroes Project will create easy-to-read information and videos about how to recycle that are fully accessible, inclusive and easy to understand. The project will also create and deliver training sessions about recycling to people with learning disabilities. This will include using interactive games and activities to increase knowledge and understanding. 

The project will join the 'Every Can Counts' campaign, working with organisations, festivals and parks to make sure people know they can recycle their drink cans wherever they are. They will distribute collections boxes throughout Greater Manchester and will run information stalls at public events.
