Recycle for Greater Manchester Community Fund

The Community Fund is now open!

The Recycle for Greater Manchester (R4GM) Community Fund is a joint R4GM and Suez initiative, administered by the Greater Manchester Environment Fund.

The fund supports Greater Manchester community and voluntary sector groups, helping to deliver projects aimed at reducing household waste, increasing recycling and encouraging reuse.

Money raised by R4GM’s Renew shops goes towards the Community Fund. Every year, £220,000 is available for community and voluntary projects.

If you have an inspiring idea for a new project, we would love to hear from you!

The application window is open for submissions from the 8th of April 2024 – 31st of May 2024.

Applications can be submitted here via our online portal.

If you wish to read about the criteria of the fund and the application requirements, please click here.

R4GM will be hosting three webinars about the fund – dates and registration information is available here.

Please note: This round will not be available to any organisation that has been previously funded by the R4GM Community Fund.

We’ve introduced this restriction because we receive many more excellent applications than we can fund and we want to give opportunities to other projects that have not received funding from us.

Thank you so much for your interest in R4GM Community Fund to date and we hope there may be some alternative funding options for you here: https://gmenvfund.org/apply-funding/other-funding-opportunities
