About the project
PROJECT TITLE: Khore Garden
LOCATION: Greater Manchester-wide
FUNDING: Awarded £28,300 from the Greater Manchester Green Spaces Fund
PARTNERS: Take Action Together CIC
The idea
The Khore Garden - meaning earthen bowl planting and weaving garden - will provide a much-needed green space for Afghan Refugees. It will create a space where they can grow learn and play together. The project will evolve and relocate with its community, meaning it could in time reach many deprived communities across Greater Manchester, in turn helping unlock community divides.
