Growing the Future

The project is aimed at increasing opportunities for families to engage in outdoor activities and enjoy a nature-based environment. Growing food to help address issues around climate change and food security will be at the heart of the project with opportunities to grow native trees and wildflower species with the seeds collected locally, which will then be used to enhance the local environment. The project will provide activities around the current climate crisis and its impacts on biodiversity with a range of engagements in country parks as well as on-site to raise awareness and promote mitigation.
